The Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce (SRCIC), co-founded by national chambers of commerce from Silk Road countries, lands in Hong Kong and will host the First Silk Road International Investment Forum and Inaugural Ceremony on 10th.
Lu Jianzhong, the Deputy Chair of China Chamber of International Commerce and Founding Chairman of Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce introduced that presidents and chairmen of 36 national chambers of commerce from Silk Road countries, business leaders, Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Chinese government officials in Hong Kong, and renowned elites will gather on 10th for the First Silk Road International Investment Forum and Inaugural Ceremony.
The First Silk Road International Investment Forum has four dedicated sub-forums on New Silk Road and International Business Opportunities, New Silk Road and International Trade, New Silk Road and International Chambers, New Silk Road: Outlook and Actions. The forum will announce Hong Kong Declaration on joint establishment and initiative of Silk Road Think Tank Association and eSilkRoad.
Answering the question why Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce chose Hong Kong as its base, Lu Jianzhong said, Hong Kong is the center of international finance, trade and shipment. It enjoys advantages in geography, human resources and services. At the same time, the Hong Kong SAR government welcomes and supports the establishment of Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce, “I am very confident to lead the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce to success.”
