Mr. Kim Jang-soo, the South Korean ambassador to China, made a welcome speech
On 13 June, the Korean Cultural Center in Beijing held the celebration to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-South Korean diplomatic relation as well as the 10th anniversary of the founding of the center.
Mr. Kim Jang-soo, the South Korean ambassador to China, made a welcome speech at the celebration. Mr. Wang Shi, SRCIC Honorary Chairman and the Chairman of Chinese Culture Promotion Society, delivered a speech on behalf of all the Chinese participants at the celebration. As a special honour, Mr. Wang was awarded the Plate of Appreciation by Mr. Han Jae-heuk, Minister Counselor and Director of the Center for his contribution to the understanding of Sino-South Korean cultures.

Mr. Wang expressed his congratulations to both Chinese and South Korean guests at the celebration. He said he believes that Sino-South Korean friendship will be deepened and enduring.
Professor Zhang Hongyan, Deputy Director of the Traditional Instruments Department of China Central Conservatory of Music and a Chinese lute performer, and Yao Sai, Member of the Presidium of the Chinese Culture Promotion Society and Assistant to Mr. Wangshi, also attended the celebration.
Apart from the above-mentioned guests, some Chinese scholars, artists and tourism experts were also invited to the occasion.
